Very dramatic 1940s maxi dress in black and red velvet. High neckline in front and large shoulder pads give it a Hollywood flair. Deep v-neck back, gathered sleeves at the wrists, sash attached at each side which can be tied around the front or back, back metal zipper and snaps. Unusual to find in a larger size for the era.
